February? ??!! Why wait til then? It'll be frozen by august!

:mad2: :mad2: Don't tell him that, he'll believe you!!!! Then, once he drowns, the cop's will look into why he tried to walk on water off of end of the Grand Haven pier in the middle of a massive thunderstorm, with the rip current status at extremely dangerous, and track it back to this thread on this forum.

And as the member closest to the scene, the only defense I'll have is this post, and the fact that you're the one to goad him on. The fact that you live on the other side of the Lower Peninsula, and that he tried to do it with 6 to 10 foot waves crashing over his head may just get lost, and I refuse to get put in that position because you don't know him as well as I do!!!!!!!!!!:mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

I'll tell ya the same thing I told 200 mph kart kid:

We here at diygk are not responsible for your failure, death, serious injury (or any injury) of your self, or others. We can not, and will not be held liable for your own ignorance, bull headed-ness, or otherwise pure stupidity.

There I think that should cover the Poboy trying to walk on water bit.

I really think that should be the disclaimer on the front page.

Texas and California, both got too many wierdos for me. Heck I won't even visit my sister in Houston. Oklahoma is as far south as I'll go. There it's just like Indiana. :lolgoku: I too have spent a lot of time walking on water, Lake Michigan aint bad but it sucks when I loose my concentration and fall in.

Florida attracts = Snow birds, rich people, pedophiles, murderers, and every drug dealer known to man.

then you got the "few" and in between who are normal.

Good luck guessing what I am...

hint; I'm native to Florida.

Colorado attracts = terrible drivers, skiers, mountain climbers(14ers) murders, armed gunman, tons of potheads(you don't even know until you go to Boulder), summer birds(aka people who live behind me)

:funnypost: Well, you've proven many times that you're not normal, your not a snow bird, and you're to close to broke to make the rich cut.

:ack2: :ack2: :ack2: Personally, I really don't like the look's of the three choices left on your list, I just don't..... :ack2: :ack2: :ack2: :stir: :stir: :stir:

should of gotten stitches today, but a bandage works. So what, one more scar?! PSSHHH

Was drilling holes in my new knife for the scales, had it clamped with one clamp.. on the 2nd hole, you know when you're drilling steel and it catches at the very end? and kinda wants to spin the piece around? well it ripped the piece out from under the clamp and hit me right below the thumb on the left hand. BLADE SIDE FIRST. was just the primary bevel done, but it was tapered enough that it made a nice smooth clean cut.

As soon as it happened it was "S**T ***K" while running inside to get to the sink before it starts pooling blood. it was gush gush squirt at first, then it was oozy for 15 more minutes.. Finally got it to clot, I had rinsed it out in the sink like 5 times, so no baddies should be in the wound. plus cleaned the cut inside with a Q-tip. while checking to see if I could see bone.

it was all good up until 20 minute mark. when the adrenaline dump disappeared and I got woozy, and my face goes pale like a dead guy. ALWAYS happens tho, when I hurt myself.

For areas of skin that don't move a lot, superglue (crazy glue) works well... as long as you can hold the wound closed while applying...

I always find that clamping behind the job works well, there's no chance the job will slip out from under the clamp; also, drilling in steps (start with a small bit & work up to the required size) & drilling from both sides (after the pilot) decreases the chance of the bit "grabbing" the job...

Hope you're ok...

Cant tell you hiw many times superglue has saved me from stitches lol. Have a nice scar on my left ring finger whrre I sliced half way through the tendon. Superglue and lots of cussing lol. Saw my dr a few weeks later and he just shakes his head and checks the fingers movement. All good now.

That was thanks to a butcher knife I was juggling.

^ mine is gonna look like that.. the scar at least

yeah I know about super glue, its getting more sore, as the bruising sets in.

lol my neighbor came home as I was outside putting away the extention cords. hand dripping of blood, she goes "you cut your hair" me "not the only thing i've cut.." she goes "what's wrong with your hand" I go, "I cut it.. I don't really know how much blood is too much blood." and she goes let me have a look. So I showed her. she goes "that's a nice gash, maybe gonna need to get a stitch on it."

Lol my neighbors giving me sound medical advice and I don't even listen. :D but it was too late in the afternoon and I wasn't going to the ER for 1 STITCH. and a 500 dollar bill.

Ill remove the bandaid tomorrow to reapply a better one and check it. if its still open badly, or swelling, ill go into my GP. they have nurses there that would do it for a lot less then 500 bucks, think the copay is like 15 dollars.. still cheaper. they also have the glue.
