Thats awesome lol. Ive got a ball python about the same size. I tried to cage a moccasin one time. I let him go rather quickly after a very close call while feeding it

Well... My neighbor bought one of those big 5 hp 220v upright air compressors....and when he brought it home ...it was crated up and strapped to the back of his truck.....

He uncrated it and put the leftover crating material on the curb....I grabbed it....

Pic #2 shows the pile....with all the boards seperated and the nails and staples pulled.....

#3. is the sawhorses I built with it....(out of the short boards).....and the leftover lumber.....I love free stuff.....

Well....I'm trying to figure out if I'm a genuis or an idiot...(Don't bother answering)......the question actually came up on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire "....and the contestant used his "Ask the audience " lifeline....and it came back 95% chose "B" ...Poboy is an idiot.....

But....I. bought 3 adult helmets today for $4 a piece.....(GENIUS! right????) I was carrying them to a neighbor's house for an off the cuff appraisal....and sold 2 of them for $30 to another neighbor.....

Now....I have gotten paid $18 more than I spent...and I have a helmet.....

Now the idiot part is....I'm sure I could have probably gotten more than $15 each....but hey...tripling your money in 10 mins...ain't bad.....And....I contracted to mow his lawn....$35 each time ....,twice a month.....

To a Poboy, that's a good day!!!! I also picked up two aquariums...($2 each) ..a microwave for $5....and a like new $350 dishwasher for $40.....

Too bad they didn't have any salt for sale....'cause here comes the real..."salt in the wounds, ...Yankees....it's 77°f right now .....@ 8:21 Central Standard Time.....

I wish you weren't just kidding....I have got to some serious housekeeping....I've been busy working and getting the garden ready.....

My dishwasher is broken...so it's going to replace it....

So... I go to this house to bid on some MINOR remodeling.....somewhere along the way....there's a mower that needed to be fixed...

Yes...I can do that....probably about $25...

So....I get it running in 20 mins. bring it back...and tell them...

Ummm....Looks like you have been running this mower without an air cleaner for some time....the oil was low, I topped it off, but it really needs to be changed.....but....you basically have ruined your motor, and it's on it's last legs...MAYBE....if you put a filter back on
...you might squeeze a few more miles out of it....?

I get a text later saying the pull start quit working.....

Well....it wasn't when I got it....I lubed it up and it was fine
...so....I'm thinking maybe some trash is floating around in it....

OH....NO....Dispite the "We tried pulling it a couple of times,then it quit"....

What I found was a grass covered lawnmower,....without and ait filter, with the same crappy oil in it...that was locked up....DUH#!!!

What a frigging mess....long story short....spent 2 hours jacking with a basket case mower...just to prove that it wasn't my fault it quits....but that they not only abused it in the past....but completely ignored my warning, instructions, and competent forecast of its demise.....

OK.....So a few days ago....I went to my mom's to take her shopping.....

Her driveway has like a 15° downslope when you pull in....soooooo.....looking backwards.....you see treetops...not street level.....

There were a couple of idiot kids running up and down the street in a very low electric kart......

Now....as I went to pull out of the driveway.....my mom said "Where did those kids go?"

I didn't worry too much....because I'm a careful driver...all my mirrors are well adjusted .....and I'm not often fooled.....

Soooooooo......as I back out.....my tailgate is blocking everything at ground level......

NOW.....these two geniuses are in the road....almost directly behind my truck....and the one not sitting with his but 1/2" off the ground.....is leaning over .....at the back of the kart....getting ready to push it back in the middle of the street.......

Now....I cut the wheel to the right side as I was leaving the the driveway to head north as I was leaving....and didn't even seen these little twerps until I was almost even with them......

Had I been heading south.....(and cut the wheel that way)....I would have run the dumbsheets smooth over!!!!!!!

What the Heck ever happened to getting the Heel out of the street when a car was coming???????

The whole human population is dumbing down!!!!!

You said it was an electric Kart? or did you mean Prius? Oh they are future prius drivers. Problem is when a prius is backing out at the grocery store parking lot it makes no sound! All of a sudden the car just starts moving!

Soooo.....I'm out in my garden with a Halogen light....planting the last of the pepper plants......when my big gray, longhaired male cat comes up and says: "Daddy....I want to go inside now!"

Now....What he really said was "meow"....so I had to interpret what that meant....but that was it....

How many other folks out there have pets that "talk" to you?

Now...."meow"....may be all he knows how to say....but it can have very different meanings....but...it's a prompt for me to do something....let him in or out, feed him, and occasionally....I never do figure it out.....

But....check this out: When he was younger....he was crying at me on the other side of a fence....I couldn't figure out why.....Now...I had to go around a shed to get to him....which was at the corner of the fence....and he was out of sight while I went around this shed.....

When I hit the corner.....he had already snuck up into an ambush position....and as soon as I cleared that corner....he was on my ankle like a starved lion.....

HE SET ME UP!!!!!

Thankfully....he's mellowed a bit....but...he's still a smart, domineering, evil cat....and he tries to control me!!!!!!

And.......DADGUMMIT....he DOES!!!!!

I've decided to sleep outside tonight.....last night about 4tornadoes touched down just north of here.....

No guts....no glory....I fully expect some strong thunderstorms tonight....hopefully, not a tornado....

But....it should be fun...if I survive....

That's....(believe or not)....something pretty cool....(to endure a severe storm......with nothing more than a flimsy tent between you)....

I just hope the tent doesn't leak!!!!!!
