well i made the front peace where my feet rest on.
but it was a busy weekend for me. so i didn't do any welding.
I ordered the clutch 12t, and i ordered the wheel sprocket 60t
# 35 chain. but this weekend its on!!!lol ill be welding on the motor mounting plate. bolting the sprocket to the wheel and lining everything up. anything on your kart ?

i have sprocket, carrier and chain. clutch will be ordered on the 16th. axle coming at the weekend, as well as bearings so we are about the same stage...

over my hols (13th to 20th) i will be doing the back axle and engine mount.

i had my work put a key on the shaft also i got the clutch and the wheel sprocket. i also made the foot plate and welded it on. i have not did anything with the mounting plate for the motor yet.

here is the sprocket mounted on the wheel. i just got this done this morning!

nice. i like the wheel, although hf. i found with my wheel so far away from the sprocket, the sprocket almost hits the ground, so have now bought some 14" quad tyres.

I hope my sprocket does not hit the ground. and yes HF wheels are bad, but i just want to see how bad...lol.
being my kart is so little I can't really put any bigger tires on.
but as od now so far so good!

your sprocket is right next to the wheel, you should have no problem... mine was 30cm away from the wheel, and had 1/2" below it!!!!!

i know, would have been fine on tarmac or FLAT concrete tracks, but not were i live. that i y i bought bigger wheels!!!!

i know, i just thought that they might be useful to WHIMPEYROSS. thanks for the link earlier, but as i am in the uk, it is no use.
