Could it be were I set my valve lash I set them both at exactly tdc 8thou on the exhaust and 6 thou intake .or should they be set individually or is my coil not working properly

Was you on the compression stroke at TDC? Do you have a valve lash cap on your eshaust valve ? Also what is the air gap on your coil and what spark plug are you using?
