bicycle brake parts for throttle cable?

Building an extremely low budget chainsaw powered bicycle.everythings coming together well with several successful test rides.now I have to figure out a throttle cable.I have other bikes with complete brake systems-im sure il figure it out but I'm always up for suggestions-thanks

Use the hand lever from the handle bar and the cable, well use it for the cable..... What do you need help with? Post some pics of your whatchamacallit......

On my bike, I used a brake lever, cable adjusters ect(except the caliper), for my throttle.
I didn't have/couldn't find a twist throttle at the time. Works great so far.

I've got 27$ in this project and that was for #40 chain and sprockets.I think I have pics il try to put up.I built my rear hub and used a front wheel in the rear-the clutch was the hardest part I tried several things but ended up tacking theclutch to the shaft because the added length of the clutch bell caused the clutch to want to tighten against the case.I diddnt want to weld on it but I couldn't figure out anything else with my budget.I have a 13 tooth in the front and a40 in the rear.il probably get an 80 for the rear because my gears are pretty high

I wish I coulda figured out how to get the original chainsaw sprocket off-even the huge metal bandsaw at my work wouldn't even scratch it

Welcome to the forum John!!!!! I like the project! !!!! One thing tho...someone's gotta say it. ...so it might as well be me....it needs a chain guard. ........

Sterlings in ne colorado-appreciate the positive feedback from everybody! And yes it needs a chain guard that covers the clutch-a lot of little tinkering left to do. Last time I worked on it I rigged up an air cleaner and fixed the front brakes.still gotta fix rear brakes, better throttle (bailing wire right now) better fuel tank among other things.its kind of a rough draft that I plan on improving.lot of fun already
