Everyone has to start somewhere & experience comes from making mistakes
BUT, learning comes from those who have
already made those mistakes; realistically, it's not that big a jump from go karts to cars, the concept is the same, one is just a lot bigger with a lot more attention to detail...
Now, what should you do in this situation?
STOP & THINK BEFORE SPENDING ANY MONEY! Take it from someone who's
made the mistake of buying
half a machine before researching the missing half (see
this thread); in short, a $50 bargain turned into a $300 nightmare which is now not much better than scrap...
For this application, a snowmobile engine is no good without the clutch system; if you have to modify the engine in any way or hunt & search for the correct clutch which ends up costing more than the engine, it doesn't matter
what the engine is like or what comes with it; without the clutch, it's a paper weight...
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON IT UNLESS IT HAS THE FULL CLUTCH SETUP!
