Oh, this is not good.....

This shop order/ tracker crossed my workbench today.....

012.jpg

If you click on it twice to zoom it, you'll see the last line in bold face is the stuff that no one in business wants to see... Needless to say, one of the outside salesmen has his rear end in a sling....

please tell me "Fi" :D
if "A" NO ONE wants to see that line :lolgoku:

That was "HIGH MANAGEMENT"'s way of A] telling the sales force that they need to actually remember the tech spec's in the companies sales liturature, and B] their way of trying to shift the weight (and cost) of how to process this :censored: to us on the shop floor...

Long story short, Lathes managed the bore job, then passed it off to the mills for final hub face off. I and the 2nd shift lead man had the setup for our part under control when my shift ended, with programming about to sign off on the face off program.

The general consensus of all concerned on the floor is that old line, "A total :censored: :censored: on their part, does not equate to an emergency on our part.....".

Well yesterday was interesting. ....I got some stuff done....but got distracted along the way by a little turtle. I shifted focus to pond management and some other things...........well.........kinda got forgotten. One was watering the front flowerbed. I walked around front and saw the street covered in water.....

Which brings me to my point. People are just POS' s anymore. I'm just built differently. When I see water in the street- I look for the source instead of sitting on my azz looking at it like my new neighbors who "thought it was a busted water main"........

It would have been nice to have been given a "heads up".....before I wasted water I can't afford. I've saved quite a few people this misfortune with just a little bit of effort. ...This won't happen a few weeks from now as the freezing temps will be gone and I can re-install my timers.....

Thanks Doug, I forgot about this thread; I was looking for a place to show off this pic I took after spending a busy weekend with my buddy helping him clear the front end of his car in my garage after he "did a little work to it"...

NOTE: The bright coloured flares are in the camera, not the subject...

Oh 'sid- 'sid..... One time I had to explain to mama why there where blood stains on the hood of my '70 Chevelle.....She actually giggled a little and said: "Oh- I thought you had gotten in a fight...."

See - My car had a really bad "Earl Shyster" paint job and the finish was like sandpaper. I knew a spot out at the lake I could drive to....but really not be bothered.....So- this is 1 girl+ 1 secluded spot+ 1 bad paint job= 2 bloody knees.....I hope I did a better job painting this picture than the joker who painted that Chevelle did.

So- with a good paint job ON a car could be a good thing. .....

Well I mentioned earlier I had a small car myself when I was young (2.5 seater)
So I have a rough idea.... but bloody knees?
Anyways.. family friendly forum and such.. nevermind.

Yes, that paintjob looks nice, it's the subject I don't understand.
Ah well, a matter of taste... nothing to dicuss there ;)

But yes, nice smooth glossy paint... I like that :D

very nice chinese demon! very very nice indeed!

That poor soul above reminds me of something...
I can't quite get hold of it though...

I'm getting old :(

My day.. well my ISP lost one of his main routers for my area today..
So I can not visit any pages beyond that router
like diygk for example...:censored:

I've set up a quick webproxy on one of my servers to come here... not elegant, not properly set up, not flawless and not even reliable.
(most likely because not properly set up yet ;))

Luckily it's a different provider so it at least works to some degree.
(Untill I hit a website exclusively routed by said lost machine)

Until I have a more permanent fix consider me offline ;)

Yes- those were done when she was heavily into her Gothic phase and into Oriental and dragons and such. Her fascination with Oriental went to the extreme that she started learning to speak Japanese. ...she should have made it Chinese so she could speak directly to the manufacturer. ..lol....

She developed her own style and always marched to the beat of a different drummer to some extent. Grandma wasn't too happy at her wedding. ...She promised her that they had dropped the crazy idea of formal attire excepting manditory Converse footwear.....Yes- she lied... I think the preacher and I were the only ones not wearing sneakers. .....

She did keep her word and not get a mohawk until the day after though.....Then when I saw her about a year ago she had shaved half her head and had some kind of weird tattoo on it. .....She looks a lot more normal now- excepting the fact she sports quite a few tats.....but then again. ...that's what she does and I guess they just kinda trade work with each other when things are slow.....

He's always chasing the "birds" man.....Can't keep his paws off 'em.....He does have good taste though. ...haven't seen him with any "dogs" yet..:lolgoku:

See you Monday :lolgoku:

GRRRRRRRR.... Forget my earlier post. Rezoning would put my little girl in a not so good school, and my 10 year old daughter in a crappy school. Not happening. Back to looking..... I hate looking.... By now, they are all the same. Only thing I ask is how big is the garage and is there a storage building/ shed on the property......
