Everyone has a bad day once in a while. I thought maybe a thread to go to to get it off your chest might help you feel better. Could be a win win, while those with the crappiest day, can take some solace in the fact that their day was as bad as it felt like it was, the rest of us might actually find a little comfort in being able to realize that maybe our problems weren't as bad as we thought.
I'd love to kick this thing off, but I had a really good day today. (Don't ever expect to see that out of me again! )

Ya know, it's funny; I don't think I've had a bad day since I quit my job at the dealership. Hmmm.

See, its working already,
I know that each one of these posers,...er I mean posters, had a little bit worse day than they let on. But when they thought about it, they realized that they had had a pretty good day after all. And the problems of the day weren't bad enough to make public.
Me, I had a pretty good one, the worst thing I can put a finger on is that I pawned my welder, and my neighbor (who owns one) isn't around.
I realize I'm making some strong accusations here, (as to the truthfulness of the replies), but I'd bet there was more than a touch of truth there.
BTW, Just in case you get any of this twisted, I mean no disrepect to anybody, it's just my sense of humor that gets taken the wrong way sometimes.

well for me all that happened was work and playing video games. worst part was playing the games in the dark and getting a headache. worked on taking out a heavy oil burning furnace that was converting to burning gas. worst part about that was the heaviness. but i need to work out so it wasnt bad.

im just glad i got paid to play the video games

Are you referring to a post in my weather cracked tires thread? If you are that is awesome, if not, it's still awesome.

I have good days (not very often lately) & I have bad days (more often than not) & then I have days where good things happen then bad things happen...

Case in point: Yesterday, I was multitasking, fixing a lawnmower & painting the fuel tank for my GX160. Got the mower running great & without any problems but, I'd just finished the final coat on the fuel tank, which was hanging by wire wrapped around the anchor studs, obviously, not well enough because one let go, causing the hook to let go & the tank fell onto the grass :censored::censored::mad2::censored::censored:

Now I'll have to rub it down & try again...

... you've just put a final coat of paint on the part, and an insect lands on it. Or you fumble it and it hits the ground.

Ouch.

Cool! I see you're going for the "On the trail" Camo look! Though, I don't think the white will help you much..

Lol, no I must of missed that post.. I was referring to the common use of duck tape though. Though, I don't see Ducktape used as often around here as it use to be a few years ago..

Well talk about ups and downs:Saturday there was a knock at my door, it was my mailman, he had a front door he wanted installed on his house. I was pumped because I really needed the money.
Sunday, another knock, same guy, cancelling because the door was warped.
Yesterday I tried to start the motor on the kart. Fuel just poured out into the filter and the primer bulb didn't work. I tore the carb down, found the leak in the float and soldiered it up (stay out of this, Jim, I can hear what you're thinking already, not everything risky ends in fire or disaster! ):lolgoku:
BTW, You're the one that runs TOWARDS heat in possibility the most miserable city in Texas in Summer, so your sanity, may be up for scrutiny anyway. (JK)
Anyway, back to the carb, that fixed the leak, but not the primer bulb problem. This is the first time I haven't been able to fix a carb, but it is also the first time I ever got one in pieces that had sat for so many years.
But the reason for this post is twofold, one to whine a little about my problems, but also to try to insert a picture into a post.

SUCCESS!
A few people know of my trails and tribulations getting to this point, 90% of which can be attributed to the fact I bought a defective phone.
Anyway, the pics are of the kart I bought for $20.I really didn't need another project. The most frustrating thing to me is that I get to this point and stupid little things start coming out of the woodwork. That, and the fact that I am so broke I can't buy a chain makes me a bit crazy.
O.K.-I was crazy already, but that is a different story.

Trying to keep a long story short-

I went to the hospital with more pain than I ever want to experience... Again. 3 years ago, I had a kidney stone, left side. 5 years ago, stone, same side. This time, the pain was on the right, but I assumed it was another stone. Wrong-o.

After the first CT scan was examined, the doctor ordered up a second scan, this time with a contrast dye to make the images sharper. He saw something questionable on the first one. Skipping ahead, I was told I had a "mass" on my right kidney, and the big "C-word" was tossed about a few times, scaring the he// out of me.

Skipping ahead again- today, I had a date with a specialist. Based on all the evidence he had, there's a 90% chance it's cancerous. Might not be. Based on the size and what it might be, it's gotta come out sooner rather than later. Based on the location smack in the middle of the kidney, the odds are bad that they will be able to simply cut the "mass" out and have the kidney stay unscathed. So... The whole damm thing's coming out. Bad day? Yeah.

That sucks, at least it's in something that's relatively harmless to remove and not something more important.
