Well mainly we need it for is to see the RPM we are getting to figure out what gear ratio we want and if I can mount it on the dashboard it would be for looks. So its for use and looks!

While it would definitely let you double check that the engine is at least hitting the RPM you are looking for, I don't think it would be of much use a gauge when you were in motion. The unit is ~1/2 again bigger than the ad photo, max. It's designed to be able to be mounted on the side of/ along side of the engine for a lawn mower or tiller. It's quite small (hence the name "Tiny Tach").

Just so you are aware of this before you buy it; it's not intended to be like a conventional tach like a car or motorcycle.

I got it for 150$, he said it has the same gear ratio as a race-prepped one but it has reverse. He said the beefed up gears they put in the "race prepped" ones don't have a spot to put the reverse gear on!

I will post actual pics of it later!! and maybe ya'll can help me I.D. it cuz it has no markings on it what so ever!:ack2:

Yeah- That's a 700. You'll find no specific model markings on it because they take one of several possible different models, strip and clean it, and load it with their standard gearsets and race goodies.

If for some reason you find you really want a model number, let me know. I have a fair bit of documentation on them, and can probably pull an appropriate number for you.

As far as not having room for the reverse stuff with the race goodies in there, I'm taking it with a VERY large grain of salt. I'm quite familiar with the internal organs of the 700- given where the reverse sprockets and chain physically sit (behind neutral and on the opposing side of the shafts from the forward gears) I very seriously doubt it.

I must have taken mine apart and reassemble it 20 times. Mine started out as a 3-speed. Now, it's a 4-speed with neutral between 1st and 2nd like a bike tranny, and I chose all my own ratios.

So we were VERY slow today at work. So I decided to make the the fake radiator for the front of the T-Bucket. Needless to say, I got pretty far.....but still not quit done. :lolgoku:

It is 12 inches wide, 16 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches deep!:bannana:

So what do ya'll think?:auto:

The grill shell should be fairly straightforward for you. As for the radiator fins, I think paint would do it.

Say- Wouldn't it be cool to use that rad as your fuel tank?

If I may make a point: If we are looking at the front of the setup, you've ended up with reverse ackermann. If we're looking at the rear of the setup, ackermann may still be a bit lacking; just something to think about...
