Tanks!!!

How do you mount a gas tank to an engine and how do you do the fuel line and stuff like that? Where can i buy the fuel line? This gas tank is for my briggs 3hp for my minibike. Please include pictures if possible so it will be easier to understand.

Depends(need pics). Fuel line is push it on and clamp it down, add a shut off valve to the line and its plumbed.

With that type of engine, the tank is mounted directly beneath the carb, I think, and it's part of the carb itself.

It looks like someone adapted a Tecumseh carb to the Briggs. (I've done it- see how the carb is slightly tilted clockwise in the back view of the ebay ad?).
You can go a couple of routes here. Get a Briggs carb/tank set-up, or find an old tank from a tecumseh or whatever (anything that holds gas and has the small fuel fitting underneath), go to your local carparts dealer and get a length of the appropriate fuel line hose. Here's how I did it back in 1980....

I get all my fuel line from the motorsports shop close to my house. I ONLY buy Tygon fuel tubing because it's sort of like silicone and it always stays flexible even in cold temperatures.
