So very true. As an avid shooter (and owning one too), safety is the NUMBER ONE thing. PERIOD. If you can't handle a gun properly then you don't shoot with one. My grandfather was a gun restorer, and my family was always involved with them, so safety was tought at a young age. However, this pic looks to be in the middle of nowhere with no one around. Not making excuses for him, if he kept his finger on the trigger at the gun range I go to he wouldn't be allowed to shoot. That being said, I think Roy has a good handle on the situation.
