I've made cloud type feeds but never one of these and I feel it would be fun to make regardless. For a high quality gun with accuracy, power, and ROF, look at this.

Don't even get me started on those loads of $#!^
With anything that shoots airsoft BBs a hopup system is absolutely critical for accuracy. Not only does it kick in bernoulli's principle to effectively negate gravity with lift, it also stabilizes the shot in the same way a firearm's rifling does. And we're talking little plastic balls flying through the air at a few hundred miles per hour here, it's on par with throwing a frisbee properly compared to just randomly chucking it.
Just for quick reference, my airsoft Dragunov has about 2.9J muzzle energy as compared to the 2.2 of the strafer, and with a top of the line hop system (strafer has none) and a 25.6" barrel as opposed to the strafer's 17", not to mention the fact that bolt action systems are inherently more accurate than automatics. My range absolutely tops out to where the shots are dropping so fast it's nearly impossible to hit anything at 300 feet. My hopup helps bump the effective full body range to around 250 with no wind, but with no hopup I'd expect it to be closer to 100-150
max (yes, they're that critical)
With the strafer not having a hopup it would require even heavier BBs to half provide stability and half lower the muzzle velocity to promote the stability. And low muzzle velocities generally mean shorter range, as would be the case here.
Furthermore, the 2.9 J of my Dragunov is a low guess. It uses a spring rated for 560 FPS in an electric gun (that's 560 with .2g BBs, not the .12s the strafer is rated with), but has a longer piston and barrel so the velocity will most definitely be higher.
You may be lucky to max out at the stated 'effective' range of it. And there's no way that would take someone down effectively unless you're crowd controlling toddlers.
And just brushing on the reliability - the Dee's barrel in the Strafer will do nothing for accuracy with no hopup, yet they are extremely tight, at 6.01mm - so tight many airsoft snipers use larger barrels. Due to inconsistencies in ammo, they jam. Frequently. Even with frequent cleaning of the barrel/internals. Pump that many RPMs though it and you're either wasting astronomical amounts of cash on ammo or it will jam extremely frequently.
The Strafer is just a rich kids' toy bb gun, nothing more.
