Tell me, please god- tell me- that you're kidding.

EDIT- Fan boat? Sure it would work. You'd have a boat with a fan on it. Perfect for keeping cool while drifting helplessly down the river... Powerlessly...

if i were to tell you i'm thinking to use a weed-eater on an RC boat in the future would that give you an idea? :D.

if i had to suggest a cheep alternative i would say maybe you should talk to russ about lawn boy duraforce engines. not sure if there is enough power there, but maybe.

You BETCHA!!!! One of my long term projects is an R/C airboat. The first incarnation uses a basic nitro R/C plane engine. If that works out the way I'd like it too, I have a 25cc Homelite weedie engine that will be next!

hopefully i will be soon, would have to teach myself aluminum mig and figure out how to get enough money for an argon tank, i'm about broke now that i spent all my money (what i have been saving for the past 2 or 3 years plus what i got for my b-day) on a new welder! the aluminum capability is half the reason i bought it, i find myself wanting to make bike parts, frames, gas tanks, and all kinds of stuff out of aluminum, aluminum setups are expensive though... trust me, my wallet and a few ones are pretty lonely even with the aid of my b-day money, but it will definitely be worth it! if you wanna drive down i'm fine with you using it :D my parents may not be though, :roflol:

check this little boat out, looks like it gets going pretty nicely!

I thought you meant a full size swamp boat! An RC boat, heck yes! My shop teacher is actually modding one to drive a tailgating blender. He's also welding up an aluminum base for it. Those engines are good for small stuff with high RPMs, but their carbs always "grind my gears" (watching Family Guy ATM).

yea, i put my engine away after pulling the starter so much it broke while i was trying to get the mixture dialed in! LOL one more thing to fix. i had some other plans for it, blender was one, so was pencil sharpener, and now rc boat! notice they all include sharp things spinning very fast? :roflol:

EDIT: i would like to see a pic of this blender! LOL

Where did this talk of models come from? When did it ever cross your mind that this would work?!

Is this a V8?
