You BETCHA!!!! One of my long term projects is an R/C airboat. The first incarnation uses a basic nitro R/C plane engine. If that works out the way I'd like it too, I have a 25cc Homelite weedie engine that will be next!

I started the model talk. Partially because I am slowly working on such a build, partially because that's the only scale of boat a weedie would actually push.

ha! i made a r/c fanboat before with a 3.5 (i think?) .28 nitro slide carb 2 stroke.

i might have a video. never worked well at ALL.

i used a computer fan blade on the nitro engine,, it wasnt balanced well for 40k RPM. a fin shattered off!

Awesome engine, lousy prop. I've got a 2-blade and a 3-blade model aircraft props for it.
