I know nothing about older form of ignition (points, etc) and was wondering where the sparkplug boot is or wear it connects to. There's a whole bunch of wiring disconnected and there isn't a sparkplug boot. Any help?

Some of the older ones didn't have a boot. Just a insulated wire, and a metal "C" like circle to place on top of the plug.

I have the ring around the flywheel. If there's any other pieces I'm not sure where they would be. I'll get some pics.

There's also a ball of wires coming from the light on the atc into the frame and I see open connectors at the back.. Also connectors that used to be going into engine wires. Pulled the engine gonna rebuild it.

Not on a honda motor more like a black box with 2 blade terminals+plug wire. A motor like this probably used a CDI system, you need the vdi and coil, im pretty sure the stator and pickup is already there.

EDIT: those parts are probably still on machine, hard to tech something 300 miles away.
