There's a documentary called Before The Music Dies, in which a bunch of respected musicians, producers, writers, etc, examine what happened to the music industry.

My favorite part is where they have a songwriter come up with a song in about a minute, then they hire a model to record it, and the studio wizards turn her into a "star". She's not really a star, but you can't tell the difference.

It's a great documentary. Check it out.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to have to try to lay hands on a copy of that.

Yeah I like quite a variety of genres. There's plenty more I listen to but wouldn't really call favorites. And I'm sure I could come back and look at this every day and remember another favorite I left out.

just though to add this, i listen to radio when i work and even though i dont like the type of music been played i can get it out of my head, its kinda weird lol.
