Hi,
Well.. I mentioned already,
that this yt hack is having troubles sometimes...
That's annoying.

And it's getting worse;
maybe because there are now one or two videos per day, at least one breaks the layout.

just an example:
http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=24322&page=2

Please, there shouldn't be any effect in tapatalk, so for judgement use a computer and/or a real browser at least.

That's caused by the yt integration hack that's installed in the forum

Robert, if you don't mind would you tell me which one it is, maybe even attach the xml file for me ?

It not only ruins the layout, it also breaks the highslide container for attachments on that page.

PS There's a simple solution btw.. just remove the "https://" in all youtube links with a db query on the posts table ;)

No you didn't..
well not as far as I'm concerned that is ;)

The link you posted there caused the installed hack* to freak out,
but that's not your fault, but the coder's :D

If you want to avoid that (until the hack is fixed) just remove the https: or replace it with http: ;)

I probably "copied" it wrong... my bad... lol Ill keep an eye out next time.

Nope, you didn't, no worries.
That happened alot lately, and I think I had one of those too, a while ago ;)

It's because of youtube providing https links as soon as you're logged in or something *shrugs*
and this hack doesn't know how to treat it properly, so it first makes a embed container, and then tries to add a link to said container, which isn't possible and it'll break.
And because the coder was a lazy :censored: he didn't implemented a fallback method for https links at all.

Ugly code...
"15HP wooden kart on pedal car wheels and bike brakes" ugly code ;)

sid, I'm confused by what you're talking about. Get me some screen shots and clarify exactly what's going on. Thanks!

I have noticed this problem too. The vid looks like it is in the post, but the writing looks like it is "outside" the post frame. I usually just take the https out and leave the www. It then corrects itself

Sorry about that, wasn't thinking about this thread when I fixed them...
No problem.
fixing those posts is in fact a good thing if you ask me ;)

So, you noticed, but didn't tell Robert? :toetap05:
Nevermind. :D see above, fixing is the important part IMO.

Robert, if you want a more permanent and less manual fix,
just let me know which one it is. ;)

I have always just thought it was my PC doing funny things. It is known to mess things up in webpages. Sorry. :surrender: :D
