...I'm not saying I'm not, but anyway. I'm not exactly a minibike person. I don't know about them. I now own one (to turn into a go kart but that's beside the point). It came with some crazy blue-ish fuel in the gas tank. Then I put gas in it and it looked nothing alike. I may have a problem here.... Please help!

Probably a 2 cycle engine in which case the added oil will turn the gas blue.
There is a blue colorant in oil as an identifier.
Is it a 2 cycle engine? If so, make sure to mix the correct amount of oil to gas.

I second that...
Hopefully engine was not run straight gassed.

Uh... Well... You see I tried to start it with pure gas but it wouldn't go. How awful is that? It's a bike from"YNB motors". It appears to have no dipstick and I'm 99% sure it's a 2 stroke. Thanks for all you guy's help.

Should be safe with a 32:1 mix...4 oz. pre-mix to 1 gallon gasoline.
Drain out tank and carb bowl of all straight gas.
Mix fuel in a separate container and not in bike tank.

this is what you need to do. ^^^

undo the drain on the carb bowl if it has one, otherwise youll have to pop it off. your engine can run for minutes on just the fuel in the lines and carb, probably. thats running for minutes without oil.

i almost killed a 2 stroke once, i thought i mixed oil into the gas, but procrastinated and forgot. then going up a hill the poor thing sputters out. i was able to get new rings and save the piston, but that could have been alot worse.

it will never run the same once you run it with straight gas. (without a total tear down and rebuild).

So I get 4oz of my standard penzoil or whatever and mix it with a gallon of gas? Do I have to like heat it in a cauldron or say a magic phrase? Thanks you guys for all your help.

EDIT: Wait! I did some research and found out this: You buy special oil called 2 stroke oil and mix it with the gas. Am I correct or is this false information? And where do you recommend mixing it? Can I store if after I mix it? So many questions!

no!

you need 2 stroke oil. like this.

if your interested, heres a little how an engine works, to give you an idea of the difference between 2 stroke and 4 stroke. im not meaning to be mean, just helping you understand, i learned this stuff at one time before too, not saying i know everything about engines......

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2_stroke

EDIT: a 4 stroke has valves to let fuel into the cylinder, instead of coming up underneath the piston. the reason you dont need to mix oil in a 4 stroke is because the oil is stored in the crank case already. you cant do this to a 2 stroke otherwise it would all go into the cylinder at once.

gasoline, regardless if it has 2 stroke oil in it or not, lasts a few months usually before its not "fresh". you can get 2 stroke oil with fuel stabilizer to make it last about a year, or buy and mix it in seperately. i dont use fuel stabilizer because i usually burn up it all in a few months anyways.

buy a gasoline container, label it "2 STROKE MIX" and dump in your gasoline, 2 stroke oil, and fuel stabilizer if you are using it. put the cap on and shake it good.

Ok I'm getting there. Just to clarify:
I buy 2 stroke pre-mix.
I mix 4 oz of that with regular gasoline.
I think I got it. Thank you so much for you help.

correct,

you buy 2 stroke oil, and mix that with regular gasoline.

the mixed fuel is then called premix.

MAke sure you add the correct amount of two stroke oil to your gas. You need to find out what ratio your engine uses. Then mix your gas and oil to get the right ratio.

Like Russ siad, 4oz to EACH GALLON will give a 32:1 ratio.

I dont know what engine it is, I dont know the correct mix either. Im working on finding that out. I tried 32:1 and nothing happened. The spark plug works fine (I tested it) put 32:1 in and pulled the starter about 5 times and nothing happened. I really have no idea what else to do.
