Forty years ago my parents surprised me with a brand new Kart from the now defunct Montgomery Wards. Well I put many hours on that kart and over the years it was neglected and sat until today. My first two kids I drug into jr. Drag racing which we all enjoyed for about nine years. They are both in their twenties now and my youngest who is nearly twelve wanted nothing to do with gasoline powered toys. Well two days ago we happened to go to a family fun park where we talked her into racing her brother and I with some tame go carts. She now is wanting to get a go cart, so we will begin restoring my forty year old Wards cart. It's going to be a lot of fun.
By the way I haven't seen any posts with the style of cart I had. I have most of the pieces but would love to find some old printed material on it. Any ideas? Thanks
