Yet another new toy for the kids and something else for me to tinker with....it sat at a friends house for two years...and he said it ran over two years ago when he crank it......the other go cart I got for them runs fine but its smaller and my son has already flipped it twice...once with his sister on it and once witb my neighbor kid on it...needless to say he was fine but he went to the er later...this one is a lot bigger...dual axle and seatbeats that actually recoil ...I got it home today and put some carb cleaner in it and it tried to fire right up ;)...but due to limited sunlight I didn't have time to take carb off and clean it out just yet...oh I forgot to mention I only paid $100 for it!!

Yeah seriously, eff all you people with your ridiculously good deals. I live in the wrong place :banghead: ;)

Seriously though... man, what a bargain!! I'd be totally geeked if I got that for $100! The TC alone is worth more.

Now mod it up and show us some pics :D Have fun! :)

Thats what friends are for...... Thats a helluva deal! I really like the wide back tires... It should be a little harder to flip that one.... well...... depends on how he drives. What caused the smaller kart to flip? Glad he is ok. You can usually tell all is well when they get back up n ride some more.....

I was still able to crank it up and listen to it run even without the gaskets but it didn't run long was sucking in to much air

You could use cereal box material to make a few. I have a few on my bike to make up for the slightly warped intake adapter I made. Takes of the little imperfections well.
Trace on to a cardboard for a template, then make more from that.

For cellulose gaskets, just slightly coat with some motor oil. A few drops on your finger swished about, then just coat the card.

Ive used beer boxes, cereal boxes, all kinds of cardboard .....But I highly suggest going down to AutoZone, orielys, and buy a roll of gasket material. Its cheap and it comes in different thicknesses. I prefer Felpro , but get what you can.Do as previously stated, trace and cut a new one. Having a whole sheet/roll of it lets you make as many as you want, cheap. Do not use corkboard/corkpaper.....
For the Techcrapsa (you know what i mean ) carb bowl gasket, well if you cant get one from a local mower shop, try a hydraulic shop. The kind that rebuilds/builds hydraulic pistons ,rams ,and such. Or an O-ring distributor. In the states, try like Grainger and businesses of that nature. Tractor supply..... All you need is a thin O-ring that fits the inner diameter of the bowl.
