I agree with the fact that i'd rather have a real Honda but its just the cost issue. The Honda engines do have better QC and more substantial parts in them but for basic karting and other equipment uses its tough to beat a clone in price vs features.
Like i said in another thread once you modify the clone into the 15+hp range you have enough time and money into the motor that you should have just gotten a Honda in the first place which may be able to handle it better. But for 95% of people out there (especially on this forum) they are just looking to degovern, add a header/intake, maybe a rod and cam and have fun. For that its tough to beat the clone.
