Yerfdog 30032 build

Ok. This is my build thread for the yerfdog 30032. This project is on the heels of the 3203 I built. Goal is to have a pair of two seaters...one for wife and 1 kid, 1 for me and the other kid.

Gearing will be 60/9
Torque Concerter will be 30 series with 7” driven
Tires-Kenda Scorpion 18x9.5 on 8x8.5” rims. Fronts are 15x6-6 knobbies.

Power plant-undecided. Predator is always an option but I might throw on a stage 1 Tillotson with no govenor and the TCT carburetor. That should net 1-2hp more than a normal stage 1 predator.

Brakes-band brake or mechanical disc. The 6” band brake on the 3203 works fantastic.

Shocks-Heavy duty 12” gopowersports shocks

New spindles and A-Arms from BMI

Axle-40” flexproof axle...1” with 3/4” step down

Hubs-4x100 step down hubs

New hardware throughout.

All parts are in except the brake, TC and engine. I’ll order those once I finish the frame.

Color will be orange. It’s s nice contrast with the blue 3203.

Progress- frame was stripped down. Steel diamond plate was put in for the floor last night. In the process of painting it. After paint I’ll assemble it as a roller and we will see from there.

The pictures with the shiny floor is how I received the kart. It was paper thin aluminum designed for decorative wall trim fastened to the kart with sheet metal screws haha.

The 3203 is the wife’s. The rear suspension makes it more comfortable to ride. This one will be for me (which is why I’m considering the Tillotson)

Frame is painted and ready for assembly. I used Rustoleum “2x” coverage, “ Real Orange”. Three coats. Topped it off with a coat of clear. Floor plate has been coated top and bottom in Berliner. A-arms and spindles are getting painted as we speak, also in Bedliner.

Front suspension is done. New A-arms, spindles and heavy duty shocks. Adjusted up 2 clicks. Also got the front wheels painted.

30 series with 7” driver is on the way.

These were my daughter’s “Old Maid” cards. She offered them up haha. Thanks for the compliment. Need to order a brake setup soon so I can setup the axle.

Got the suspension tightened up and the wheels on the front. The seat frame came back from powdercoating and I mounted that too. The seat I had ordered was the same Inised on the 3203. I thought it would fit the 30032 but it is quite a bit different. I separated the top and bottom. I pulled up some staples and cut some of the seat base off as it was too wide. I relocated the T-nut. Reattached the vinyl with fresh staples and bolted it down. For the back seat I cut out a seat board tonight and am in the process of making it. Project is coming along nicely overall.
