Yerf-dog spiderbox with 670cc Predator

My 1st buggy build HELP , has anyone tried doing a Spiderbox with a 670cc Predator? I'm hopeful that with a little work , cut here , cut there & a few welds this thing should hookup.... I need any help I can get please...

I think you'd have a lot of the weight of the motor behind the rear axle which could hurt handling. For the money of the 670cc I'd look at getting a 460cc from Vegas Carts and mount the 460cc as close to the seat as possible to allow for suspension compression.

Should work fine, if you are doing some welding, make sure you look into reinforcing the front end of the kart while you are at it. the yerf dog spider box has had some quality issues with the front.

You will need to put a 40 series torque converter on it, and maybe even do some compound reduction in gearing (gear it for 40 mph) since the axle sprocket is small.
