Yerf dog shocks compatibility?

Hey, I'm picking up a yerf dog 3203 frame with a few missing parts that I'm going to fix up. I need to buy 2 front shocks and was wondering if these would work on the 3203: https://www.bmikarts.com/mobile/Mechanical-Adjustable-Shock--12_p_1281.html

If they don't, then I'll have to spend $55 on two from eBay.

It looks like the scock should work, but just make sure the mounting holes are the right size.

As for the sprocket, if you have it on you kart, measure the distance between 2 teeth. If 3/8", then it is a #35. If it is 1/2" then it is a #40

those will work. the 3203 came with a torque converter so using a clutch will greatly impact the karts torque.

Ok and just to be clear, these shocks on bmikarts are REAR shocks and I'm going to use them on the FRONT of my yerf dog 3203. They'll work, correct? Also, are you saying that using a clutch instead of a torque converter will make the kart lose power and be worse?

Here are the specs for stock yerf dog 3203 shocks:
12" from eye to eye
0.38" I.D Mounting Hole
3/4" approx. Mounting Thickness
0.24" Spring Gauge O.D
The approx. diameter of the shock is 1.83"


Here are the specs for the ones from bmi karts:
12" eye to eye
.4" id mounting hole
.81" mounting thickness
.32" approx spring gauge diameter
2.02" shock diameter

Yes I am 90% sure that they will work. A torque converter is basically a mini automatic transmission that will give you alot more torque. Your kart originally had one which means it is geared for a torque converter and not a clutch. If you install a clutch you will find yourself lacking power to climb small hills and get started in grass and so on. Let me save you a bit of trouble. I just went through this with a YD 3203.

The clutch will semi-work on flat pavement, but will not work on hills or off-road. Get the 30 series torque converter/jack shaft and put things back the way they were designed.

Thanks a lot. I had a tough time deciding between $45 and $130, but I guess in this case it will pay off to not skimp out on the money. Will this kit include a built in jack shaft and everything I need? Just because I don't know how to mount a separate jack shaft and would like everything I need to be in one spot. Does it come with a sprocket? It's item # 330949961250 on eBay.


Also, will these two tie rods work on the yerf dog 3203?
