Been pretty busy, but I have got some paint on it. The live axle was a wash the previous owner must have been a beach bum. Got one wheel off and well the rest was history. I ordered a 45" axle, Hydro master and slave, chain ect. got most of what I need to get it up and running maybe tomorrow. I plan on carb mikuni vm22 and exhaust for a start on 212. How tall can I go on the tire, with a 60T on the axle, anyone running 20"? Here's some picks

20" tyres & a 60t axle sprocket? Only if you have a TC or compound gearing...

Depending on the pitch of the 60t sprocket, you'll either end up with a 5:1 ratio (with #35 pitch) or 6:1 (with #40/41 pitch) with a centrifugal clutch setup (12t #35 or 10t #40), neither of which is enough to move that with 20" tyres, you need closer to 8:1...

So, Here is the plan. Santa is going to wrap the New Header, Muffler and
Mikuni carb, intake, TC springs ect. misc upgades! I will be having the Header and muffler cericoated by my neighbor who owes me for electrical work. We will see if the 6 yr old can figure it out before exiting the house LOL. The first day of the build he was ****ed when I returned home with his Brothers, and told me that he knew what I was gettin him for Christmas, It was a Barbie Doll, and he was ****ed. I told him it was Ken and he was good! Here's a couple of the Header I bent and Exhaust. The goal is to have all 3 of my boys work on this and hopefully get excited about making something look and work better by investing time and Learning. When I was young I thrived on making something better and faster but did not have any resources. Who here has any input on a Lathe- Mill combo? I'm thinking that's next, looking for recommendations?

Looks good... I'd say while it's exposed, unplug the oil sensor and use that to make the kill switch.
Wire inline to ground, a momentary pushbutton switch, like on the steering column. Hook the other end to the plugged end of the little gold box where the oil sensor goes..
No need to splice or what ever... Good to go.. Errr stop that is..

Oh... I'll also say you'll need a brace for the exhaust, got alot of mass moving about, it's no fun removing a broken exhaust stud from the block...
A bolt from the gastank or nearby will suffice.
