Yerf dog go kart any good?

im fixing up a yerf dog go kart with a 6.0 tecumseh engine with torque converter i was wondering if there worth it for offroad use like riding through trails no jumps or anything and how are they on hill's do they clime good?

Depends what condition its in. basically, it will be fine. Should be a fun ride.

Its hill climbing ability will depend on how its geared. Here's a calculator you can use to figure out where your gearing is at now, and other gearing combonations you could change to for much better climbing ability: http://www.diygokarts.com/speed-calculator.html

(if your engine still has the govenor all connected, enter 3600 rpm / gearing for the least top speed = the best climbing ability)

if its the same yerf my friend has with the 6.0 tec it trails good but does not climb at all, there pretty under powered id put a 13hp hf and the weld at the front wheel bracket broke

over all there sweet but need some strength + power modding

I also think that it needs bigger front tires but from what I understand is that you can't put them on.
