i got this kart from a friend about 4 days ago. Since then I've been messing around with it. Ive read a couple post about this early model, dose anyone know what this was re-called for specifically, like did it over steer and plow or flip?
since i got it I've made some adjustments with the chain and steering, re-built the carb twice, drained the gas tank, new fuel lines, and one of the welds broke on the floor pan so i welded it back up. also added a better seat and steering wheel. i also purchased a belt and weight assembly for the clutch.

Those had a really bad bump steer. The front wheels can rip the wheel out of your hand and fold the front tires. There is a fix for it in a few threads.

When I say fold I am talking the tires turn to far each drection. Yerfdog made a kit for it but they can no longer be found. I think B-Man and Blaze have done the fix.

I had a few of them and they drove just fine. But I would not go hi speeds on pavement if stock form. They get twitchy and hi speeds.
