Hi guys I was having trouble with my torque converter and I think because it wasn't perfectly lined up with my 301 it was going through belts because the front clutch was inside the rear clutch. Now I have space than to be even and I seem to not be going through belts nearly as bad but I now notice my go-kart shortly after start will be at almost maximum RPM for a few seconds and then finally it drops RPM and you start going faster on the top end and I was wondering what I might do to correct this issue? Other things I have done is the torque converter came stock with a 35 sprocket on the rear and I did switch that to a 40 sprocket. The torque converter is a Tav 30. Thank you ahead of time for any suggestions I will get!

I assume you know there are different sides to a belt? There's a flat side and a angled side. Make sure the flat side goes on facing the engine.
