Hi guys I am somewhat new to go karts. I had homemade kart growing up and wanted my kids to have a kart as well. I was able to buy a yerf dog 3203 that is in great shape for $300. The seller mentioned that he had swapped out belts with one that was similar, but he didn't know if it was the right one. I have ordered a new belt from BMI and know that 1 side is flat and that one is beveled. What I need to know is:
1) What do I need to do to be able to replace the belt?
2) If I try to take the torque converter off will springs pop or things go flying before I get a good look at them to be able to figure how to put it back together?
3) Does anybody have a good step by step procedure to do what I am trying to do? I have been on BMI's web page and looked all through the web, but I have not found anything as to a step by step procedure for changing out the belt.
Thanks in advance.
Russ
