My sons crashed the go-kart into a fence. They got too close and the passenger wheel grabbed it and turned the whole kart sideways. It wasn't a terrible crash, nobody got hurt but the front wheels are all cock-eyed now. My question, are these supposed to sit at a 90 degree angle? Thanks in advance.

Oh, the tierod was bent for sure. I bent it back straight but the wheels were still not pointing correctly so I started looking at other things and noticed this guy wasnt sitting at 90°. But looking at the other side, like you suggested, neither is the other one. If they did, part of it would rub the tire. I just adjusted the tie rods to get it aligned as straight as I can tell with my naked eye. Hopefully we don't start chewing up tires... **** this is an expensive and time consuming hobby!

To adjust the toe back to where it should be...

Measure the inside distance between the rims of the front wheels. The front should be about 1/8 inch closer than on the rear side.

Good to hear you got it back running. It's good for the kids to crash. It teaches them not to run into stuff. Glad no one was hurt.
