Hello all-
New to this forum..65 ,retired,bought a 3002 for my grandson..need to rebuild the spindles ,etc..What are some good upgrades for this kart? I have restored a few vintage bikes( I presently have seven) restored my MGA, so I have the tools and ability to redo this kart. I would like to tap the knowledge on this site for the 3002. I'll try to find a thread dedicated to the 3002 y-dog, but any starter info would be helpful in the meantime'
In the late 50's , I had a Sears 2-seater go kart , and put a lot of miles on her. I still have the pics!
I restored a 72 yamaha JT-2 MX for him last year. He's only 2.5 years old, but grandpa is ready to go!
I plan to strip the cart and rebuild what ever it needs..lots of play in the spindles right now..won't know what's up until I pick it up this Wed and start disassembly. I know this an entry level kart, but seems to be well built for what it is?
