well, i have project S.M.URF Dog loaded in the back of my truck at the moment
its a newer yerf dog cart, you know the really nice(2 seat, full suspension and cage, luggage rack...) ones, its my friends so its gonna be a cheap or free build, its been sitting for a couple years full of gas so who knows what evil is in the tank, past that its brand spanking new
still has tire tits(little spikey things from the mold)
well so far heres the plan

its going full fire rescue UAV style
-red and white with new vinyl work(52 to represent our firehouse)
-a blue dual rotating warning light, or possibly a 10 head red/white rotater from a firetruck(replaced with LED unit and i saved it)
-simpson racing harnesses(saved from the dumpster at our race shop)
-possible better cageing for better protection from crap in the woods
-possible larger tires
-a fire extinguisher, because were all firefighters and why not
and last but not least(if it works) a national "Q" siren from a 60's Mack firetruck!
pictures tomorrow, and hopefully sone riding up at the farm

were hoping for a mass gathering of quads and carts

Sometimes bringing a carb back from the dead can be really tricky. It's very possible a passage is still partially blocked. There's also a chance you didn't get the adjustments right. Do you have a service manual?

Just throwing it out there: What about a small trailer with a water tank & pump for the little spot fires. It may need a bigger engine to haul the extra weight though

Sounds like a freakin awesome project dude. Be sure to post pics all the way man.

I think it's an awesome idea. I know my Yerf gets me places a truck is too big for and it's cheaper than a 4 wheeler.

I also like another member's idea of getting a small trailer and water tank for spot fires. Probably should upgrade the motor like he said if you do that. Something with like 12HP ought to do.
