Yay! School's over...for a few months

Well, I wrapped things up today with 2 finals, Latin and Calc 1. Latin was cake as it's all open note, calc on the other hand...holy crap was it tough. As I was leaving I saw my shop teacher leaving as well...in his deuce and a half!

My Calc. 1 final... There's a drawing of a pie in there somewhere in the place of pi.

Here's a conversation between my one friend and the teacher.
Friend: "What's going on here?"
Teacher: "Which one?"
Friend: -extends test toward teacher- "This one." *cue awkward silence*

Another, as he was handing in the final, simply apologized for what he did on the test.

Your teacher drove that? I never took calc, but I dominated pre-calc compared to any other class (other than phys ed/electives) I've ever taken throughout my years of schooling.

Thats funny about your friend. If I apologized for all the tests I handed in, it would have gotten old after the first month of school.

Yep. He just bought it about a year and a half ago and has been fixing it up since. He used the shop to make stuff as needed. It's cool. I saw photos of the inside. There's still rifle racks on each door as well as between the seats.

This guy didn't really teach well. He would write up a problem and be like that's how you do it. He wouldn't explain the in between steps. But he is really funny and it was a fun class. He's a cabbie in the summer, too.

He constantly warned us not to "drink and derive" when someone derived a problem wrong.

Here's a story I was told about him. After the Steelers won Super Bowl 43 a few years back, his students came into class and he was sitting in his chair, in the dark, facing the corner of the room. After about 10 mins, he stood up and said, "Guys, as you all know, the Steelers won the Super Bowl last night, and, well, you're all mature enough to know, I drank A LOT! So, if you wouldn't mind, stay quiet and keep the lights off. If you want to go anywhere, just go, don't ask to be signed out."

I still have a week of school left, I'm a junior too. What are you gonna do over the summer?

Well, I just wrapped up my junior year. I think this summer is going to consist of baseball, umpiring baseball, and a whole lot of nothing productive (poker, swimming, biking, etc.).

Yea, I'm trying to find a job, and some friends so I won't be bored out of my mind again.
