Ok i joined this forum to learn some things about how to get this to work. I have been doing a little research and havent found much. I have a single person yard kart and a kdx 200 2 stroke motor im going to rebuild.

My background on karts- I use to race in blue plate and what not when i was younger.

I have a welder and alot of tools and a general idea of what i need to do

What i need help with-
Whats the most common way to hook up the shifting mech and clutch mech.
I was thinking on using a lever with a clutch lever on that lever (thats alot of levers in one sentence)
Is there a place i can buy like a kit for this ? so i can mount it next to me.

Everything as far as mounting the engine, and bulding up the week spots i understand.

This is what i will be starting with, has a old B&S motor on it right now, going to put a cheap racing seat i have laying around in it. Build up the frame and what not. New tires eventually. And put the kdx200 on it.

That's a Manco Dingo; some people would crucify you for wanting to change it :lolgoku:

well it already has a diff briggs motor on it but its pretty slow. Today we figured the kdx200 motor is about shot. My buddy has a raptor 660 that has a good motor and what not for 500 bucks.... Should i ? lol

True but, with that conversion, that one life may be a short one :lolgoku:

TBH, I honestly dont think the Dingo is up to the job; that amount of torque will tear the frame apart...

yea, starting to think the same lol. I have a buddy with a newer up to date one he would hook me up with pretty cheap I'm sure. I am trying to think of what i could do with the 660 motor.
