Hi everyone! I need help, so I started up my Yamaha kt100 kart and the starter nut came loose and clutch pieces went flying… it currently has an 11 tooth centrifugal clutch. Would I be able to use a 12 or 14 tooth clutch?

You can use the 12 tooth and it will be a bit higher gear ratio. Might bog
pretty bad. The 14 tooth is going to be too big of a gearing difference. Was it
geared correctly with the 11 tooth ?

Do you know what brand the clutch was that flew off? All of my karts run torque converters so I can't help you much with that. I would think that there are clutches designed to work with that specific engine.
