I think i put the wrong oil inside my yamaha kt100 there is black oily substance leaking from the crank after two minutes of running and it can also be seen inside the exhaust, on the spark plug, and on the piston head.
the oil im using is:

MotorMaster Formula 1 premium tc-w3

the spark plug i can clean easily but im wondering if i could have damaged the engine and how i can clean off all the gunk out of the cylinder?

thanks

Are you talking about premix oil? either way sounds like your crank seals are bad. Along with a far too rich premix ratio.
To clean the cylinder pull the cylinder head off and soak the parts in acetone or degreaser.

Yup I'm canadian :)

The ratio I'm using is roughly 25:1. I think the carb is just running to rich

I hope you are not putting the oil into the engine. The oil needs to be mixed with the petrol. 25 parts petrol, 1 part oil. Any two stroke oil should be fine just to get it going.

Is there a hose going from the crank case to the carby. That's the pulse line. It provides a pulse to make the carburetor pump fuel. It needs to go into the correct place on the carby and the fuel line into the other. And you don't want raw fuel running straight into the crank.

Black stuff - could be old bearing seals coming apart. How is it leaking out? From where?

Be careful using acetone. Don't put it in the carby, it may dissolve the seals and diaphragms or needle seats. On metal parts is fine.

Since we're discussing solvents, I'd like to know if what a kid in my class told me a few months ago is true. He said that if you take gasoline and mix it with Styrofoam, it will dissolve it and turn in to some kind of sticky glue which is like impossible to remove. True, or flop?

Yep. Petrol eats styrofoam for breakfast. Just makes a sticky mess thought, not glue.
My dad used to use it as to form up moldings for concrete. When the concrete was set he would pour a little petrol on the foam and it would disappear leaving a gap in the concrete where he wanted.
Also, he once wanted to use a little petrol to start a fire. He siphoned some from the car into a cup and took it over to the fire. He lit the fire and a trail of flame started creeping back to the car. The cup was foam and the petrol had leaked straight through. :)

Superman warning!

You do know that Acetone is the first ingredient in Carb cleaner. Right? Along with Xylene, Toluene, and Methylether . But good looking out. :cheers2:

Hey guys, gee I recomend you guy's dont mess with these chemicals esp. the Xylene & tolulene:- part of the benzene chain (chemistry) nasty cancer causing stuff. Carby cleaner with methanol works a treat, but even that will send you blind through skin contact:worried2: over time.

:idea2:PPE (personal protective equipment) Parents will happily pay for that stuff.....just use it right... and beware when blowing things off with compressed air you will end up breathing it in too:ack2:

Cheers I hope you get the KT sorted....
