I want to learn how motorcycles are built. I want to build a mini-chopper and eventually a full size chopper. Been practicing my welding with a bar stool racer frame to get practice I need to build a motorcycle frame.

I bought a really rusted out / beat up X7 pocket bike for $50 off Craigs List. Currently tearing everything down to the frame, clean it up and then rebuild it. A lot of things were already messed up / torn up / someone tried to take it apart before me.

The exhaust was disconnected and looks like it is missing an adapter. Attached is a pick of the round exhaust pipe that does NOT match up to the motor.
Does anyone have a link to where I can get the adapter from?

Thanks -
Keith

It looks original to me. They make the pipe flange with a round hole because the pipe is round. If you put it together does it leave a big crack, or does the flange cover the port?

there isnt an adapter. scooterparts4less.com will have a bunch of parts for you. DDM also has some but they have been lacking lately.

What's DDM?

There's a gap that just doesn't cover well. I think I am going to need a new engine and will use this engine to steal parts from when I need to.
