You should be looking for a 40 series incase you want to upgrade HP ever...

His 8hp briggs has a 3/4" shaft.... If he gets a 40series for it, he is stuck with ONLY being able to use it for an engine with a 3/4" shaft. 8hp and up are 1"..... You can GET an 8hp with a 3/4" shaft, but you won't find a 9 or 10 hp in a 3/4" shaft..... :thumbsup:

i have a comet 40 series 1 inch driver with a 5/8ths inch driven so it fits on 30 series jackshaft setup 80 plus you cover shipping , never tested but looks fine

Sorry to axxed and kb..... I've helped so many people,on a personal note, that I think all of the projects have combined into one big @$$ mess in my head. Yes, the OP does have a 1" shaft. I've confused his phone conversations with another members phone conversations....... My apologies..... :eek:

sorry bout the wait but you have al the info and having all the stuff to go either would be nice so like i said i will sell you jackshaft settup withthe 20 tooth 40/42 pitch and 10 tooth on 5/8ths shaft with bearings and lock collar for 65 including shippiung
and the 40 series torque converter able to be use on same jackshaft
all for 150 shipping included
thats 2 full settups go either way
