i almost got one of those last summer...

of course my friend talked me out of it and instead we spend $300 each to rebuild our nitro r/c buggies...

and i drove my buggy 20 feet, pulled a burnout in woodchips, and oops the clutch assembly fell off and shattered, oops stripped out spur gear, oops engine seised up.

got $100 for it on ebay. i had more than $900 into it. :(

i wish i bought one of those instead. pocket bike planet forum raves about the cags, they are cheap and easy to work on. millions of upgrades available too.

might make a mini moto though out of an old elecric one my friend dropped off today.

I wish I could afford one of those 4-speed bikes that can be registered & driven on-road. Riding my friends moped only reinforced my wish for a bike.

The ones on the site T-Man posted are a good price, Id just rather have a vehicle I can drive 365 days a year. & my insurance is already expensive enough.

b.m.800 , I dont know. Ive been looking through that site and some of those things say 70+ mph if moded. theres a parts page to that looks like you could order larger sprokets for hilly places/roads.

I've had a few of the 49cc cat eye and x7 pocket bikes and there's no way they will even do 30+. I had a modded x7 and best it did was mid 20's on the gps. Now the 110cc bikes will get up there

Whats your weight. Im sure It would go faster with me(130lbs) than with someone who weighs 200lbs.

True , now that i think about it. I have never seen any pocket bike go faster then 25 mph.

Yea any faster and they would fall apart, Im trying to sell my cag (47cc) at the minute, 120euro, with new clutch, bearings, chain, its brand new and no one wants it. Bit smokie though.
