Ok so i found a caliper laying around at my work and was wondering if it would work or not. (see pics). The only thing is that its tiny compared to the disk. I believe its for a pocket bike or even a mountain bike lol. Its nice but i think its too small and wont even stop me at 5 mph. What you guys think? sorry for the big and blurry pics i took them on my phone

Not enough. Maybe for a small compact kart, but the pucks on that probably aren't bigger than a finger print.
It def looks like a mountain bike caliper.

It would work alright but u would burn those pads out in no time. The disc is ok though, just get a new caliper. I recommend a second hand hydraulic caliper and master cylinder from an old motorcycle.

Thirded on the hydraulic. I got an entire setup, 2 piston caliper, hoses, master cylinder, and rotor for $30.

Yeah, that will stop your kart in no time at all. It looks like there's no reservoir though, you'll need one of those.
I just finished my brakes, and I stop on a dime, as a matter of fact I stop so fast I end up doing a 180 in the process and me and kart weigh a good 500+lbs

Well, .160 is just over 1/8"(.125) So it should work, that's the thickness of most small rotors.
