I HAVE THIS 10 HORSE TAKAMESHI, OR WHATEVER THE NAME IS. BUT IT COMES WITH A TRANSMISSION FROM A RIDING LAWN MOWER. WHAT I WAS WANTING TO KNOW IS HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF SOMEONE USING THIS KIND OF SETUP ON A KART EASILY? OF COURSE NOT ON MAD MAX, BUT A SMALL CHILDS KART. PLEASE POINT ME TOWARDS THREADS, OR SITES THAT HAVE THIS INFORMATION.

That should hold up fine, it looks like a peerless 700 series, which is more durable than most mower transmissions and will hold up to decent speeds. Before you use it make sure you clean out all the grease inside and replace with 80-90w gear oil.

thats a good tranny like kaptain said clean out grease put in oil and don't drive it super fast should hold up well
