Would a 1972 chaparral 440 snowmobile engine work real good on a fairly heavy kart?

found out the guy was lieing to me. i caught him in the act on the phone LOL i was researching the snowmobile on the phone and i clicked a link. it brought me to a forum where you sell snowmobiles and he posted an ad on there in his email adress name. he told me 440, it was 340. he said about 100HP, try 30. i told him and he was speechless LOL i said F*** you buddy and hung up. LOL now was that a good call or what?

it was a trade for an 8mm mauser sporter rifle. it hase a scope, rings, mounts(base), new saftey switch, swivels and sling. most accurate gun i have ever shot in my life. i picked off a beer bottle at 150yds with open sites with one shot!!!
i love it :]

but he lucked out. i want a GSXR motor if anything. atleast like a 600 or something. no 1100 lol
