So I just had this idea......a pick-up tailgate with built-in ramps inside...drop the tailgate. ....pull out the ramps and load your ATV or kart.......

A million dollar idea or worthless? No doubt cool...but financially. ....I think not. .......Can you imagine all the cool stuff I would have if I were rich?

How about y'all. ...any cool worthless inventions?

A useless invention of a step, inside the tailgate, seen at a car show, got the attention of a ford engineer who then later now has it as a standard option on there larger trucks...
A rumor as told to me by a ford dealer a few years ago....

Actually- after tinking about this a bit. .....it could be a million dollar idea. ......with a slight change. ......

We've all seen the "cargo extensions" that fit in the reciever hitch.......what if that were a dual purpose cage? It could be a bi-fold mesh tail-gate that would be able to be marketed as not only a loading aid...but a cargo extension......and a fuel saver......

All I ask.....is after that first million. .....remember me at Christmas. ...

My Dad had a snowmobile trailer that had ramps that slid up inside the trailer. It was a great way to pinch or cut your fingers. I would guess that since it worked so poorly, the idea died out.

I see those hidden ramps trailers alot with the equipment rental companies, hauling bobcats, loaders and other sized machines.

Well my pickup has a at top tray with removable sides as a pose to a tub

And Iv used them as ramps
So the tail gates are the ramps

But yea side out ramps are fairly common

Don't know about ramps inside the tail gate

U would have to hollow it out of course
And I see it being fiddly to get them in and out

Yeah-That was pretty much it.....though not exactly. ..but the reciever hitch idea is much more feasible.....cheap to make. ...multi-purpose. ...and not out there yet......Bill.....Mr. Gates? ???......are you there???...I've been on hold forever. ...oh well.....screw it.........

Back to worthless inventions. ......any number of which will slice and dice with the greatest of ease.......Take up more room than a knife. ....harder to clean.......and much less versatile. .....

Did u guys ever get firepower over there

U could say it was useless but it made a few people very rich very quick

Most of these things do
One big company making a few brilliant fantastic new ideas under differant names
Usually a completely useless way around a very small problem
Or a cheap nasty bit of junk that combines a few ideas into one
So bugger all R&D and made in China


Con some investors to pay for manufacture
Sell a 10k over infomercial

Move the money quick and deregester the shell company before investors start asking questions too bad so sad for them

That's capitalism

Yeah I remember those...
funny thing: those exact same stickers are used as RFID tags used by some companies to protect their DVDs and such...

I doubt they even removed the RFID chip from the antenna to sell them as "antenna booster"
