Yah good deal. Worse case it may need new tires too. But if rims are good that saves a lot. Get it!

Heck yeah. $50 is a good price and it's indeed a Ken-Bar something. Guess they're all Streakers with a different model number.

I was thinking it was a good deal. The tires look iffy, I could always just use what's left of them and then get better ones.

I'd buy it at that price. But I'd put a 30 series on it for more fun.

I'm trying! I was going to message him last night but there's no way to reply. I got CL to send him an email.

A TC would definitely be way more fun for sure :D will have to see what the budget allows for

Yeah, and $50 is just what he's asking ;) I bet I could talk him down a little more once I get there.

My plan would be to wear out the current tires (if they will work at all) then get some road tires and try to make it a smooth riding on roader, since I already have a good off road cart (Yerfdog 3202). But plans don't always work, worst case scenario would be to just get some knobby tires and have a nice off roader

That frame is solid. Definitely worth $50, even if the tires are shot (the left rear tire is flat btw) people can just inflate the tire right before you get there, and then it will deflate later. Just take that for what it is worth.

Go kart $50
30 series bolt on $100 on ebay
predator $100 harbor freight

Slime- hopefully will let the tires last if you are cheap, or get the knobby rears and turf saver fronts. Turf savers on the fronts (IMO) are better than knobbies as they tend to last longer.

If its a complete kart less engine that's a good deal even if you put an engine on it and don't like it you can get you money back by selling a running kart and possibly make a little for another project. We can't find POS's around here for under $100.

All good points! I've had good luck with slime so I could try it if the tires are decent.

I realize the cart is in rough condition, but some paint and new tires would definitely liven it up!

It's the first one I've seen around here for a good price as well! I probably wouldn't sell it :p

 I bet I'll buy it before you...

No kidding. I'm surprised the ad is still up and further surprised that Panhead still hasn't bought it.

Too much harping on how it's not perfect. Sheesh.

If y'all would read the earlier post, I said that there is no contact info for the seller. I have clicked the "if the poster didn't include a phone number, email, or other contact info, craigslist can notify them via email" button every day since I posted this, but he still hasn't updated the post.

And who harped on it not being perfect? I said I would give it a new coat of paint, and mentioned new tires if the current ones don't work...? Not sure who's harping on not perfect, very few things on craigslist are.

That is the problem with Craigslist. It is free to list so a bunch of people just put fake stuff on there or they aren't REALLY wanting to sell it. Too bad that is a good deal!

Could have missed doing it and hasn't been close to a smart phone or computer to update it. Doubtful but a possibility. Unlikely that it won't let them save the contact info. Have you seen if they did a new post about it? They might have out a contact info on a new post rather than update this one.

Kind of why I like the classifieds sections on forums. So much easier to PM the person and you can almost guarantee that they won't try pointing a gun in your face. If you do try to get it, have the person meet you near or in front of the local sheriff or police department to make sure nothing goes south.

Yep it is. It's happened multiple times to me, you contact and they don't respond. Never seen someone not have info listed.

I guess. Yeah I've been checking hourly :D

And oh yes, I always try to make sure we meet in a public place, or else take a few other guys with me lol. Usually people are pretty agreeable, as the buyer could just as easily have bad intentions. Plus I don't really want random CL people so see where I live and what other stuff I have in the garage. People are crazy these days. I appreciate the heads up about it though!

Well...here in Texas, WITHOUT a license, it's only legal IF it's concealed!!!! ( Total turnaround from the old law!) It can be loaded...( the owner cannot.)

Open carry: you must have a concealed permit to carry it the open... WAIT...WHAT? But anyway, if you have a CCW permit, you can strap on a holster and carry a 6 gun right down the street.

Funny, both these laws have been in effect for awhile, without any mention of negative effect.

I don't have a cc permit, but that doesn't stop me from packing one if I feel I might need it. I'm a good, mind your own business kind of guy that obeys most laws, so the only way I'm going to have to explain carrying it is if I've already had to use it, and believe me, that's the LAST thing I want. I believe that it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Better to be judged by 12 that to be carried by 6.

I carried illegally for over 30 years without incident.
