Hi all,
Happy Holidays!
I have completed plans, using Sketchup (free), for my kart build. Here's some details:
- Predator 224 with Comet TAV2 series 30, using 10 and 60 tooth sprockets (for starters), 1" live axle, disk brake. May need 2 engines!
- Front A arm with coil over shocks suspension.
- Rear swingarm with coil over shocks suspension.
- Forklift seat with seat belt. May add harness.
- Drivers side door and quick release steering wheel.
- 16x8-7 4 ply tires all around.
- LED lights outside and inside.
- Not a racer, it will be HEAVY, but solid.
- Will use glued, doweled, screwed, and some mortise and tenon joints, with plywood (3/8") reinforcement.
- Special paint scheme, color not decided yet. It will take a couple months to build, I suspect.
Comments welcome...:)

Fordy444, please listen to the experts, and other very educated people here at DIY. If they tell you that this isn't going to work out good, it probably won't.
