Won’t start or stay Crank

I have the DF200GKF and it will not start. The starter is working, I have a new relay, I’m have the brakes pressed and it still won’t start. It’s trying to start but just won’t turnover. I got it to start once but it wouldn’t stay crank. Please advise?

Check fuel, spark.

So engine is cranking?
My guess is the carb is gummed up.
How long since it last ran?

Pull the spark plug and hold it against the engine and crank it to see if it sparks.

It’s been a while since it was ran. I tried the spark plug and it sparked, it’s not gummed up, it started up one time but we can’t get it to “turnover”. We’ve replace the battery, starter relay and the fuse. Still just turning and not cranking. I tried to upload a video of the sound but it wouldn’t allow me to.

What do you mean it spins but doesn't crank?

Is the starter spinning and not turning the engine?
Or is the engine spinning just not firing?

If the engine is spinning, nest thingbi would checklist for compression.
Take the plug out and put your finger over the plug hole. Spin the engine over. It should blow your finger off. If it doesn't then you might have a stuck valve.

Did you take the carb apart and throughly clean it? There are tiny passages that need to be absolutely clear of gunk.

Sitting is the worst thing for engines.

Check if the carburetor is clean and fuel is reaching the engine. Also, inspect the spark plug—ensure it's clean, properly connected, and sparking. If the problem persists, test the battery to make sure it’s delivering enough power.
