I‘m working on a Trailmaster mini XRX. The engine quit so I’ve replaced it with a Carroll Stream Rhino 6.5 hp. I removed the attached key assembly from the new engine because it wouldn’t fit within the frame. I’m having some trouble connecting the wires back to the original harness and key switch mounted in the dash. I’ve attached some photos for reference. Thanks in advance for the help👍🏻603B5026-C98A-48BB-8C9B-55D0C3509C73.jpeg56D027E8-EA19-4B9E-9F65-EB8A966E2D28.jpegD4FF0525-0597-4F38-B62F-120978273F0E.jpeg

The original key switch and harness will not work. You have to use the one that came with the engine and lengthen the wires.

Thanks for the reply Denny. What color harness wire will the new engine kill wire connect to?

Run for 1/2 hour varying speed. Add some Lucas zzdp zink to oil. Only about an ounce. Change oil and your good to go.

This oil is the same no matter who sells it to you for whatever price or shipping. Use this stuff, no other oils or additives, just straight up. I wouldn't stake my reputation to very many products, but I will for this one due to my experiences with it.
Tightest seating and best fitting you can get out of small engines that are designed to break in all loose and sloppy for longevity and stupid abuse. Just do like Denny said and run at varying rpm, just start out at an idle for a few minutes and increase rpm gradually (lipping of the cylinder walls can break rings) all the way to max rpm.
If you want more after hotrodding a motor, use this stuff and keep on using it at every oil change. Uh-oh, argument storm coming from everyone about the continued use of a break-in oil, zinc is for sunburns, etc. ............

On cold starts only or in cold weather I would consider it normal. In warm weather or hot may need to be richened up a tad.
