Texas has horses right? I'd like to see a stock Predator 212 vs 6 or 7 Full Grown Horses in a game of Tug of War. I'm putting my money with the live horses. 250 years of selective breeding means today's horses are probably more powerful than those in the 1700's.

P.S. Google says a horse can make almost 15 peak HP.

Because when they came up with the "horsepower" in the 1700's, one horsepower really was the power of one horse. Genetics and selective breeding does something for that horsepower number. Now if I could only figure out how to do it with Predator 212s.

A horse probably can sustain an AVERAGE output of 1HP but can produce 15 Peak HP for a short burst.

It also says that a person can produce 5 HP.
I think somebody lifting 500 lbs a distance of 2 meters in 1 second is making 6 HP for that second.

The definition of horsepower created by James Watt was based on the continuous, sustained power output of a draft horse. He measured how much water could be raised in a minute, at a normal walking pace, which ended up as 33,000 ft-lbs/min. Or 550 ft-lbs/s. That is 1HP.
