Will this ratio burn up my clutch?

Ok so im doing a single wheel drive, pred 212 with 12 tooth clutch, 60 tooth sprocket, and 10" tires. This ratio shouldn't burn up my clutch right?

Yep... it did... back when that kart was a 1 wheel peeler (unlike Fabro's which is a live axle... not exactly the same as a 1 wheel drive asfar as functioning/manuverability). I kept the CClutch until I bought a TAV2... now I wont even run a CClutch (mainly cause my gearing/hp is WAY off for one... 4.5:1 on 16" wheels)

... this isnt the same kart/engine/gearing... but it shows what 10hp (modded 6.5hp), 4.5:1 ratio and a TAV2 can do for you on 16"wheels and under total 300lbs... if speed is up your alley while keeping costs, somewhat low!... and no the girls being heavy isnt the reason they are driving slow... the fuel pump was touch-n-go, and they evidently are/were afraid to top it out...

wait so the clutch did or didn't burn out... Kind of confused by your wording lol. My trike is going to be a single wheel drive also, but its mostly going to be used for riding on asphalt.
And by the way that kart is sick!

Sorry... No... the clutch did NOT burn up, it held up fine. Infact it's still good sitting on my shelf... collecting dust... lol

Now mind you... at 5:1 on 10's the CC WILL get hot... (you NEVER wanna touch a CC after being run) however, it's 'shouldnt' get so hot as to consider it 'burnt up'. Itll actually depend on the slant/levelness of the ground... whether or not ALL bearings are true and spinning properly... type of tire used... amount of time driven and how hard. Basically, the less 'drag' on the clutch, the better... and 5:1 IS borderline 'safe' for a CClutch... Im talking ON the line, borderline. But you saw how I drive.. and mine still works fine.

And mine is an ole cheapo maxtorque 25$ CC.

O yea and btw what tires did you use for the rear and did you just bolt the sprocket on through the tire?
Because im looking for some nice 10" tires with 4 holes that are 2" apart so i can bolt the sprocket to my wheel, any suggestions?
If you look at this video at 1:18 those are the tires im looking for. They have the hubs with 4 holes each 2" apart. He says he got them at northern tool but i don't see them on their website, is there a pair just like that i could get? Go to 1:18 in this vid

I had stock Manco style rims... they came w/ the kart. When I changed up wheels, what I did at first was buy rolling frames off CL for less than 50$-75$ (in ALOTTA cases, the parts values were considerably more than paid value), and eventually I had enough parts for several applications/designs... and more rims than what I knew what to do w/.

I knew when I was recording the vid... someone was gonna throw out that daddy question...

I had/have 2 of em... problem was/is, rabbits got in the shed, and made a bed outta one and had babies in the other... just didnt find out till I was pulling em out to take w/ on the trip. So I guess the 'proper' answer to your question is I dont have one that I can wear atm... sorry, but thx for the concern.

Ok so i ordered these 4.10/3.50 wheels with a 5" rim.
Now with my 12 tooth clutch, 60 tooth sprocket, do you think this ratio would burn up my clutch? I'm not sure how tall the tire is going to be but i think it will be about 12 inches when inflated. This wouldn't burn up the clutch would it? (im using the predator 212 btw)
