Hey guys,
Just wanted to know if this clutch would suit this engine and would the 12 tooth sprocket be a good match for say a 60 tooth axle sprocket. Im not after massive speed and as the kart will be reasonably heavy would there be a better sprocket combination?
As you can probably tell this is all a big learning experience for me.

Thanks in advance for any help

is a 19mm shaft equal 3/4"? because your clutch uses standard measurement and the engine is metric.

punch those #'s onto the speed calc on this website. go to the home page and it is on the side bar.

if it is 90mph or something, that setup cannot move pretty much anything that fast.

approximate cart weight? off road or on road?

off road you will want more acceleration, less speed, but on road you can sacrafice some acceleration for top speed.

EDIT: .05MM shouldnt be too oversized... but you never know. the keyway is 3/16 on the clutch isnt it? there should be enough there to fit onto the shaft.

Thanks blue thunder, probably be used a bit on and off road. If you sacrificed say 10mph off the top speed from 40mph down to 30mph would it be a huge difference with acceleration off the line? It sounds like its a difficult thing to get that balance right.

It'l struggle to get to 30mph off road with a centrifugal clutch, expect slow acceleration and a blue clutch.

For the price of both of those you could get a CT110 engine, that'l get you to 40mph no worries.

Thanks
